Teenage Motherhood ....
As teenagers, a mixture of hormones and social
cues make the drive to become sexually active very strong. Many teens
make the mistake of giving into their urges without thinking things
through.
It is very important and very possible to ‘survive’
teenage life without the scar left by the wound of having-sex-when
you’re-not-ready, I think it is really sad that having sex
is now viewed somewhat as rites of passage that any ‘self-respecting’
teenager should be initiated in.
Failing to say “no” to the temptation/pressure
of having sex when you are not ready could result in a psychological
‘scar’ that will serve as a permanent reminder.
Perhaps if every ‘self-respecting’
teenager did respect and value themselves, their bodies, their dreams
and ambitions, they would not be hesitant to turn their back against
the wave of pressure to have unexpected, unenviable and unprotected
sex.
However, should you happen to have been “conned”
to believe the opposite and are in a dilemma and in a state of hopelessness,
