God has commissioned
us to make a difference in our world and one way our communities
can be transformed is through the combating of crime by the power
of God. He has shown us that this could be done through ministry
to all areas affected by crime. We aim to do this through ministering
to the physical and spiritual needs of victims, offenders and ex-
offenders. We hope by doing so there will be healing for the damage
of crime and that we will eliminate it from our borough.
We
will do this by reaching out in ministry:-
1) To those in prison.
2) To those ex-offenders in Half-way houses, Hostels and Bail Hostels.
3) To victims of crime.
4) In crime target areas.
5) And through a telephone helpline.
We have established a cell group in a hostel/halfway house. We are
making good contact and building relationships with many ex-offenders
and victims.
